Scream Jam Beginner Guide
The core loop of Scream Jam, how to survive as a Civilian, and what to expect from the Killers.
The Core Loop
Scream Jam is an asymmetric horror game. Each round, one player becomes the Killer and the rest are Civilians (survivors). Civilians must complete objectives and survive until the round ends or escape; the Killer tries to catch everyone.
- Objectives: Work with your team to finish map tasks.
- Survive: Use the environment to break line of sight and avoid the Killer.
- Escape: Open exits or complete the win condition before the Killer gets you.
Survivor Tips
Stick together
Solos get picked off fast. Coordinate with teammates.
Learn the maps
Know shortcuts and loops to juke the Killer.
Use abilities wisely
Survivor abilities (like Frapers) are best saved for chases.
Don't panic
Keep calm and watch the Killer's tells.
The Killers
Each Killer plays differently. The full roster (KillerKyle, Pancho, Fencer, Clawquette, Clockwork, Jimmy, Betty, Bloxxer, Vapor, Fuwatti, Rosemary, and more) is tracked on the Killer List page. Dedicated ability guides will be added as verified data is published.
